Many critical careers that influence systemic change, such as lawyers, health care professionals, and educators, require postgraduate degrees. Jobs that require a master's degree or higher at entry-level are projected to be the fastest-growing segment of the workforce between 2014 and 2024. To access postgraduate education, students must receive a high school diploma, a bachelor's degree, and then have the financial resources and time to complete postgraduate school. However, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics:
Leadership Brainery is tackling this issue. As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, LB works to close opportunity and wealth gaps by ensuring equitable access to postgraduate degree programs and high-impact careers for underrepresented candidates, which includes people of color, people with disabilities, individuals from a lower socioeconomic status, LGBTQ+ individuals and other demographics who have been systematically excluded from higher education.
We need to expand our capacity in 2022, and count on your generous support to enable us to...

Thanks for your support!
It's with the help of supporters, like you, that enables us to continue serving more underrepresented young people seeking master's and doctoral education and advanced career opportunities to uplift themselves, their families, and our communities!
To help position Leadership Brainery (LB) for greater sustainability in and beyond 2022, we are initiating our Change Can't Wait peer to peer (P2P) fund and looking for volunteer fundraisers to help us accomplish this. P2P campaigning "is when individuals organize personal [fundraisers] to collect donations from their [friends, family, coworkers, etc.]"
Why are we fundraising? To put it simply, we need money to continue driving the impact and influence our mission requires. To do that, we need to hire three additional staff persons to expand our operational, programming, and evaluation capacity.
What’s the timeline? For best results, we recommend you start your fundraiser as soon as possible and give yourself a 30 day timeline.
What will the process look like? By volunteering to fundraise, you’ll take only about 15 minutes a week to share your support of our mission with and solicit donations from your network—friends, family, coworkers, etc.—to meet your own personal fundraising goal.
We'll create the campaign webpage and instruct you step-by-step on how to set up your own personal fundraiser. You don't have to worry about a thing—we'll have all the language written up for you to use, including templates for emails, social media posts, and text messages that you can easily send off! Additionally, you will receive robust support from our development team throughout your peer to peer fundraising journey.
